During my field work observation I have come to realize that I really do want to be a teacher. I really want to be able to make a difference in each child's life. I want to help each child know that they can be what ever and who ever they want. All they really need to do is go for something that they are interested in. something that they will enjoy.
While watching the teacher I was with I learned that being a teacher is not only just teaching but also being a friend, mentor, encourage, coach. You really have to fall in love with each of your students. Each student is special in his or her own way.
I also learned that there is no one way to teach. You have to be able to adjust your teaching for every second. for every child. In order to be a successful teacher you need to make sure each child is successful in learning your material. We all learn in different ways, why should we teach in just one way?
I have really come to love each student that I work with. I want them to be successful. I want them to reach their highest goals and reach their potential. I can't wait to be a teacher!
